Another classic live radio broadcast CD in this series. Limited quantites available and this one is getting hard to find!
Although not touring in either 1994 or 1995, on the back of what was to be his final release for Epic, his last record for six years and his most critically and successful album in over a decade, Cooper and band did perform at the Monsters Of Rock Festival in South America during September 95, playing three events in Brazil and one each in Argentina and Chile, the latter of which was recorded for television transmission at the Theatro Monumental in Santiago on the 9th of the month. Playing a dynamic set featuring 3 cuts from the recent album, alongside a fine selection of classics from right across the great mans extraordinary career. Our Alice is still going strong and across a glittering array of tunes the early work still carries itself with aplomb and this nineties nugget does justice to the Midas material that has attracted many new fans over the decades. Please remember that a certain John Lydon made his first impression as regards his Sex Pistols career with an impromptu stab at I’m Eighteen. Say no more – this is Super Cooper not slack Alice!
