This album revealed a fine band in the making – all the instruments shine through quality musicianship, well-crafted songs and clear production. It is full of great hooks, notable riffs and melodic harmonies without ever repeating formulas. Although not quite as eclectic as their follow-up “Spiral”, it still showcases an extremely creative and dynamic band.
