Back in 1985 Sanctuary Church in California put on the first Metal Mardigras and introduced the world to great bands like Vengeance, Barren Cross, and many more.

In 2002, Roxx Productions resurrected the Mardigras, renaming it Extreme Mardigras to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of this historic festival.

This CD was released prior to the event to promote the show in limited quantities and was mostly used as a marketing and promotional tool for the show.

The CD featured several unreleased tracks from bands like Disciple and BioGenesis, a live track from Neon Cross and several underground bands all of which appeared at the show.
