“Lizard from Ghost Mountain” was written and originally recorded as a rough demo by Randy Michaud and Kevin Mack during the Summer of 1988 while both were in the band D.T. Seizure. There were plans for it to be re-done by the band but, due to myriad circumstances beyond all control, it never happened. Eventually, the original cassette with Randy on 12-string acoustic guitar and Kevin on vocals was lost in the dust of time. But, thirty-five years later, Randy has taken it upon himself to revive the song from memory and finally add all of the embellishments he had originally imagined in 1988. Included on this EP along with the full mix (which features incidentals and musical transitions added by Tompire) is an instrumental mix of the main track and a new acoustic version Randy recorded this year as a "second demo" to replace the lost version and to use as a skeleton to build the full track upon.
