Back in 2015, Dale Thompson had all but stepped away from music. With Bride in the rearview, it looked like the end of an era. But Alan Zaring had other plans. Reaching out with a handful of fresh riffs and a dream, he sparked a collaboration that gave birth to The World Will Burn. Their debut Severity (2016) and follow-ups Ruination (2017) and Nothing’s As Real As It Seems (2019) struck a chord with fans and critics alike—landing #1 tracks and topping metal charts and now, Burn, Baby Burn! delivers their most explosive, finely tuned, and emotionally gripping album yet and if you life bands like Alice In Chains, All that Remains, Tool, Chevelle and even Def Tones, you are going to dig this album.

And this time, they’ve teamed up with Girder Records—bringing their signature intensity to an even wider audience.

“We knew this album deserved the Girder treatment,” says Alan Zaring. “They’ve poured so much into this release, and we’re beyond excited for what’s next.”

Full Description

Back in 2015, it seemed like Dale Thompson had left his singing career behind. Having retired from Bride and relocated to New Zealand, his legendary voice was absent from the heavy music scene. But fate had other plans. Around the same time, musician and friend Alan Zaring was writing new material, searching for the perfect lyrical and vocal partner. He reached out to Dale, hoping for some of his signature poetic insight. That collaboration sparked something powerful, leading to the formation of The World Will Burn and their first full-length album, Severity, in 2016.

The response was overwhelming. Their brand of heavy, atmospheric, and deeply personal metal resonated with fans. Follow-ups Ruination (2017) and Nothing’s as Real as It Seems (2019) cemented their place in the Christian metal world, with their albums topping Amazon’s alternative metal charts and their songs reaching #1 multiple times.

Now, after five years in the making, Burn, Baby Burn! is ready to ignite the scene. The band has pushed their sound and production further than ever before, crafting an album of massive guitar hooks, innovative arrangements, and the signature intensity that fans crave.

And they’ve partnered with Girder Records to make it happen.

A Note From Alan Zaring (Founding Memeber)

“We couldn’t be more pleased than to be signed with Girder Music!” Alan Zaring shares. “The detail they put into each release has become legendary.  We felt this album deserved the attention and  treatment that Girder can give it.  Everyone at the label is tireless in their dedication to doing their best to package and showcase what we recorded.  It’s been a great process. “  Alan also said “We are satisfied in knowing that Girder can get our music in front of a whole new audience that isn’t familiar with our music.  Their distribution is unsurpassed."

"This partnership also means expanded distribution, making Burn, Baby Burn! and the band’s full catalog more accessible than ever. “Finally, our South American and European fans will have a chance to own not only this fabulous new album but our entire catalog as well,” Alan added.
