2026 marks 40 years since the release of one of the most iconic albums in the Christian Metal world or in the Metal world in general for that matter. This year we plan to celebrate a landmark album that made a lasting impact on a generation of people and the music world back in 1986, and still to this day in 2026.
Roxx Records is extremely excited to share with you our interpretation of that album as we bring you...

That’s right! We are going to be sharing with the world our love and support for the band and this historic release, as we bring you a very special salute to this legendary album as written and recorded by Stryper! This very special “salute” will cover every single track on the album in chronological order from beginning to end, and end with a classic bonus track of “Soldiers Under Command.”
When we initially put the call out to many of our artists, we were not sure what to expect or how much support we would get. We were blown away at the quick response and overwhelming love and support out there for this 40-year-old, dare we say “classic” album, and all the accomplishments it made and doors that it opened. This release all came together easily and very nicely with amazing new interpretations of all the tracks and music.
As well as amazing music for this salute, we have amazing new artwork featuring a new interpretation of the iconic ‘angel’ cover art as reimagined by Bill Bafford and Juan Carlos Arce of Lux Studio.
