That's a Wrap for 2025 and a Sneak Peek into 2026!

That's a Wrap for 2025 and a Sneak Peek into 2026!

Well it’s that time of year again when we look back at the things we achieved and the accomplishments we made! It’s also a time to reflect on what went wrong and how we hopefully learn and grow from those experiences.

Well I usually don’t get real personal on these threads and focus mostly on the musical endeavors and accomplishments of our artists and their releases. But this year I’m going to allow myself to get a little more personal, and share some of what happened in my life this past year that made 2025 one of the most challenging years of my life, let alone trying to keep the label going strong this past year.

This year actually started at the tail end of last year, when we would learn my 19 year old granddaughter would get diagnosed with lymphoma and this would be the start of our year as she, and our family, would start down the journey of her chemo dialysis treatment program. Her journey would remind us just how precious life is. As of this writing I am ecstatic to say her cancer is in remission and she is starting to get back to her normal life at this time. If this wasn’t enough, it was just the start of a very tumultuous year.

Continuing in January of this past year the fires in Los Angeles would take center stage next for me, as my role outside of the music label is in healthcare. And in that role I am in a position where I end up helping provide support to the community at times. The fires would be devastating to those around me in my community, so we would begin to provide support at the Pasadena Convention Center for those impacted or who had lost their homes in the Alta Dena fires this past year.

If that wasn’t enough my father’s health would begin to rapidly decline. My wife and I would become his main care takers. In fact, I couldn’t have made it through this without the help of my wife, Carrie. While these three challenges would infiltrate 2025, there was still more, some of which will remain private. There were many challenges facing me this year, making it a very difficult just to get through life, let alone try and run a label.

Despite it all, with the help of friends and family, we would still manage to release 11 new titles through NoLifeTilMetal Records and 28 releases through Roxx Records this past year, 39 releases in total.

Each one of these artists and releases holds a special place with us, and many of these artists are already receiving accolades for their amazing performances this past year.

So as I recap our ‘year in review’ I encourage you to look up each of these artists and follow and support all their efforts, whether on our label or on their own, they are all class act artists with amazing talent and stories behind their music and art that we are very excited to share!

What an amazing year of releases we had, and we ended it with two new samplers covering some of those releases and giving you a sneak peek into our 2026 releases.

Preachers of the Underground Vol IV kicked off with a 9-minute+ opus from II CHRON 20 that you are going to hear a lot more about this coming year. The band featured a Sin Dizzy reunion of sorts with Tim Gaines on bass and John Bocanegra on drums, not to mention the Gaines brothers also playing together on this one with Steve Gaines also on guitar and vocals. We also premiered new thrash music from Ritual Servant and debuted the band Bethesda, a brand new venture featuring German Pascual and members of Veni Domine. All three of these will have new releases this coming year along with a killer new remastered anthology coming from the classic line up of Paragon.

NLTM Records Vol V also featured some killer music from this years past releases and some new music coming in 2026 including new music from HarXson, Patriarchs in Black and brand new Chris Manning, all with brand new releases this coming year!

To wrap it up if you made it all the way to the end of this long year end update, January will kick off with 4 new titles, 3 on Roxx from Bethesda, No More Death and a Limited Edition vinyl form Testimony of Apocalypse, and 1 new one from NLTM Records from HarXson with their debut release from these thrashers that features three core band members of the classic thrash band Hirax.

And before year end we will have two more very special surprise announcements, 1 on NLTM Records with a special pre order launching on New Years Day from Patriarchs in Black and 1 more surprise announcement from Roxx Records coming this first week of January.  We thank you again for all your support this past year and beyond, and we want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!
