LOS ANGELES, CA — Roxx Records is thrilled to announce the signing of Iron Faith, the powerful new brainchild of singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist “Metal” Mike Cook. The band’s self-titled, 5-track debut EP is scheduled for a worldwide release in Spring 2026.
A Calling Reclaimed
After a successful run in the touring metal circuit during the 1990s, Mike Cook stepped away from the stage to focus on his family. However, the music never left him. Following his 2025 stint with the 80s-inspired hair metal project METALKÄST, Cook felt a deeper calling to fuse his spiritual convictions with the relentless power of traditional Heavy Metal.
Iron Faith is the result of that calling—a project that balances "hard-hitting" sonic aggression with faith-based lyrical depth.
Iron Faith is the ultimate expression of “Metal” Mike Cook’s musical and spiritual journey. Combining the grit of 90s metal with the soaring melodies of the genre's golden era, Iron Faith stands as a testament to the idea that true passion—and true faith—never rusts.
A Powerhouse Lineup
To bring this vision to life, Cook enlisted a cadre of elite talent to ensure the EP hits with maximum impact:
- The Foundation: Driving the rhythmic engine is drummer Devin James.
- The Shredders: The EP features an explosive rotating cast of lead guitarists, including Trevor DeTalente, Sean Senhenn, Gabriel Skyline, and Jarred Zorzy, each bringing a unique flavor of virtuosity to the tracks.
